Dubai, 30 November.
This Sunday, Al Warqa’a Park will host the decisive phase of the Community Football Tournament held as part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge. After two weeks of competition involving 16 amateur teams — each playing under the symbolic names of national squads — the tournament now reaches its concluding stage.
The schedule for 30 November includes the semi-finals and finals of both divisions: the Golden Cup and the Silver Cup.
GOLDEN CUP — Four teams demonstrating the highest level of stability and structure
The main bracket features teams that have shown consistent performances, organised play, and strong defensive structure throughout the tournament.
“Belgium”
One of the most disciplined sides of the event. Conceded just one goal during the group stage and maintained full control in key phases of play.
“Ghana”
A physically strong team capable of applying pressure and dictating tempo. Their intensity and direct style make them difficult opponents for any side.
“Italy”
A tactically sound team with a well-organised structure. Confident in possession and effective in the final third, they progressed through the group and play-off stages with composure.
“England”
The most productive attacking team of the tournament. With 12 goals scored in the group stage, England carries significant threat in the final third. Their striker Nawaf leads all scorers with 13 goals in four matches.
Semi-finals will be played earlier in the day, with the Golden Cup final scheduled for 20:00 on Pitch 1.
SILVER CUP — Teams that adapted and improved throughout the tournament
The second bracket features teams that increased their performance level as the tournament progressed.
“Uruguay”
Arriving in excellent form during the knockouts, including a standout 6–0 victory, they enter the Silver Cup semi-finals as one of the key contenders.
“Germany”
A balanced team that delivered their strongest performances in the latter part of the competition.
“Portugal”
A convincing 5–0 win over France showcased their attacking capability. Fast, structured, and efficient in transition.
“Brazil”
A dynamic side relying on pace and vertical play. They consistently create space and generate scoring opportunities.
The Silver Cup final will also take place at 20:00, hosted on Pitch 3.
